Why is play important for a child?
Play is the most natural way for a child to explore and learn about him/herself and the world around him/her, acquire and improve the skills of movement, communication, relationships with others and draw conclusions about connections between things and beings.
Reading to the child and reading with the child
Reading is one of the ways for a child to get "language nutrition". This "food" is one of the most comprehensive ways of stimulating development, as proven by science. Reading offers words - names for things, activities, events that the child sees around him/her, his/her experiences, feelings and the like.
Talk to your baby
When a child listens to words and has an opportunity to hear the names of phenomena, experiences or activities, he/she learns the meanings of words and ways of expressing his/her thoughts or feelings. We call this process "language nutrition" and science offers unequivocal evidence that this type of "nutrition" is very important for brain development, as well as overall child development.
What is learning for a child?
Although adults may have the idea that learning means intentionally acquiring certain knowledge, from a child's perspective, learning means something else.
Developing a strong emotional bond with the baby (age 9-12 months)
At this age, the baby is already very adept at moving, reaching and grabbing objects around him/her. He/she has clear behaviors through which he/she explores objects - he/she turns them, bangs them against the floor, throws them, puts them in his/her mouth, bangs them against each other, aligns, groups, drops them into a container and takes them out.
Developing a strong emotional bond with the baby (age 6-9 months)
Beyond six months of age, the baby is already very skilled in making conversation and wants to improve further, but also to use these skills to get to know the world around him/her.
Developing a strong emotional bond with the baby (age 3-6 months)
At the age of 3-6 months, babies increasingly try to actively talk with the people around them, but also increasingly need to share their interests and willingness to communicate with others - to engage others in the conversation.
Connecting with the baby
A strong emotional bond with you will be key to your child's willingness and courage to explore, learn and grasp the world around him/her. This relationship is not a given and develops from the first moment of the parents and child's life together.
A strong emotional bond with the parents is crucial for child development
A strong emotional bond with the parents is a key factor in the baby's development (but also later in life). When a baby feels safe and loved, he/she is more willing and courageous to explore the world around him/her. It is how a baby learns and discovers, as well as develops communication skills, relationships with others, motor skills, speech.
Why is parental alliance important for child care?
A parental alliance is a powerful tool that a family has to take good care of their child. It unites the father and mother around a common goal - caring for the child and the well-being of the child and the family. Although this seems to happen spontaneously, the development of a quality parental alliance is, in fact, preceded by a significant number of steps.
